The Southeast Raleigh community, City of Raleigh officials, and project partners gathered yesterday to celebrate the opening of Fire Station 3. Remarks were shared by City and Fire Department leaders, along with Maxwell Emcays, the artist behind the station’s outdoor public art installation.
Fire Station 3 has deep ties to the historic Victor Company—Raleigh’s first volunteer Black fire company, which served the community for decades. This new facility honors that legacy while looking ahead to the future, as it is slated to house the City’s first electric fire engine.
Falcon is proud to have contributed to this project, providing construction materials testing and special inspections throughout construction. It’s an honor to support a project that not only advances public safety infrastructure but also celebrates a rich and important history.
