Luke joins Falcon as an Engineering Technician after spending the earlier portion of his career in management and team leadership in another industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Science and an Associate in Culinary Arts. His unique skill set has quickly made him a valued contributor to the team!
    We’re excited to welcome Victor (Vic) Kovacs bac We’re excited to welcome Victor (Vic) Kovacs back to our Construction Services Department! Vic becomes the latest boomerang employee to return to Falcon after spending a few years on the contracting side of the industry. Vic rejoins our Construction Services Team as an inspector/technician. He holds ACI and NCDOT QMS certifications and has 6 years of industry experience.

Joe joins us as a senior Special Inspector with 30+ years of experience. He has a wide range of experience on projects both in California and North Carolina. He is ICC-certified in Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, and Structural Steel, as well as ACI- and nuclear-gauge certified.

    Falcon celebrated the upcoming Easter holiday with Falcon celebrated the upcoming Easter holiday with our annual Beverage Hunt and potluck lunch. It was a beautiful day to have a little break from work and search for some beverages hidden around the office! Everyone came away with a variety of drinks and a few gift cards. And of course, a bit of bartering ensued afterward in hopes of getting a more favorable beverage. 🐰🍻
    We’re excited to welcome Spencer Brigham as Geot We’re excited to welcome Spencer Brigham as Geotechnical Staff Professional! Spencer joins Falcon as a recent graduate from UNC Chapel Hill’s Geological Sciences program, with a Minor in GIS. Prior to furthering his education, he spent 5 years serving in the US Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, where he contributed his skills to the operation, maintenance, and implementation of radar systems. Spencer brings along with him a positive can-do attitude and enthusiasm for learning all the different ways he can integrate his knowledge and abilities into Falcon’s operations.

The Ronald McDonald House provides comfort, care, and a “home away from home” for families with a child receiving medical treatment, an organization we are proud to support.
    Johnston County Public Schools broke ground today Johnston County Public Schools broke ground today for the Clayton High School Rebuild. Falcon is proud to be part of the team, providing materials testing and special inspections during construction. The rebuild will provide state-of-the-art facilities, including teaching space and labs, a main and auxiliary gym, athletic fields and facilities, and an auditorium with seating capacity of 762. Congratulations to Johnston County Public Schools, Johnston County Government, and the design and construction team, led by Designer - @ls3p and Construction Manager - @barnhill.built. We look forward to working with the team to bring this exciting new project to fruition!

Colin will serve as an Engineering Technician, working on a variety of our projects that require materials testing and special inspections. Colin became certified in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) while serving in the United States Air Force. We’re looking forward to having Colin on board and the contributions he’ll make to the team!
    Ben House has joined our Construction Services Dep Ben House has joined our Construction Services Department as an Engineering Technician! Ben has prior experience in the Construction Industry, specifically in providing structural inspections. He studied engineering at NC State University, and since joining Falcon has received his ACI/NCDOT - Concrete Field Technician Grade 1 certification. We’re excited to welcome Ben and look forward to his contributions at Falcon!

This year we were pleased to present the award to Justin Sondgeroth. Justin has played a pivotal role in our ongoing work at RDU Airport, serving as the Lead Technician and helping to manage the field team. As one of his colleagues said, “Justin is the definition of glue for our team at RDU. He is the person who will push you to be better in everyday life as well as your career. It is truly a pleasure to work alongside him.” Congratulations to Justin on a job well done!🎉
