Project Description

Falcon provided geotechnical and laboratory services in studying five watersheds within the Sumter National Forest. The efforts were undertaken as a means to mitigate the effects of an unidentified offsite construction project. The project mainly consisted of modifications to the stream banks and floodplains with major excavation work. Falcon conducted Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) along a 90,000 linear feet stream length for a total of 60 borings.
