For this new town park, Falcon provided geotechincal engineering, environmental consultation, and materials testing and special inspections. Geotechnical services included field reconnaissance, soil borings, laboratory testing, and a geotechnical report. Environmental services included delineation to jurisdictional wetlands and streams, as well as riparian buffers, all of which were approved by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the NC Division of Water Quality (DWQ). Additionally, as a part of the design team, we collaborated with and involved the public during the up-front master planning phase, in regards to stormwater, utilities, parking, grading, site layout, pedestrian connectivity, and roadway improvement.
