Durham Public Schools retained Falcon for geotechnical engineering services for the replacement of Northern High School. Falcon identified subsurface conditions within the footprint of the planned school area were less than ideal. The team decided that it would be more cost effective to purchase a new property for the school. Falcon assisted the Team with a due diligence subsurface investigation for purchasing a nearby property which was found to be suitable for purchase. Falcon went on to provide materials testing and special inspections during construction.

The project scope includes a new high school building, fieldhouse, ticket booth, restroom/concessions building, press box, stadium seating, site retaining walls, athletic fields, sport courts, several stormwater ponds, parking for students faculty and buses, and associated underground infrastructure.
