    Welcome to the team, Yassir! Yassir Abdelwahab, MS Welcome to the team, Yassir! Yassir Abdelwahab, MSI joins our Construction Services Department as Assistant Project Manager.

Yassir comes to Falcon with 19 years’ experience in the construction industry including international project experience and graduate level research in civil engineering. His work has included design and submittal reviews, field Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing, and Project Management including project budgeting, progress tracking and billing, and proposal writing.
    Falcon participated in the ACEC NC PAC Sporting Cl Falcon participated in the ACEC NC PAC Sporting Clay Fundraiser held on April 18th. Our Team - Charles Wilkins with Falcon, Michael Dare with Robbins & Morton, and Todd Ireland, CET with Kimley-Horn - came in 1st place! To top it off, Mike won 2nd place individual shooter, and Charles won 1st place individual shooter. An all-around great day supporting ACEC PAC!

Drew comes to Falcon with over 2 years of experience in the industry, specializing in pre-cast concrete construction. He arrived at Falcon with his ACI/NCDOT Concrete Field Technician certification in hand and quickly gained his ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector and ICC Masonry Special Inspector certifications in the short time he has been here.

Michael will be responsible for scheduling field staff and subcontractors, managing subcontractor agreements and documentation, assisting and supporting field professionals, and liaising with Falcon’s project management throughout the field investigation phase.

    Welcome to the team, Tyler! Tyler joined Falcon as Welcome to the team, Tyler! Tyler joined Falcon as an Engineering Technician with five years of experience in soils & concrete testing. In the short amount of time Tyler has been with Falcon he has obtained his ICC – Soils certification and is working toward obtaining his ICC – Reinforced Concrete certification.

With previous experience working in the AEC industry, Tyler already holds his ACI/NCDOT – Concrete Field Testing certification and Nuclear Gauge certification.

We are happy to have Tyler on board and look forward to his contributions at Falcon!

    Each year we present the Soaring Falcon Award to a Each year we present the Soaring Falcon Award to an employee who goes above and beyond in their role. This year we were pleased to present the award to Dana Goodnight. Dana often flies under the radar - spending much of his time in the field - doing his job humbly day-in and day-out. But anyone that has worked with Dana knows that he is the consummate professional. Many of his peers have acknowledged Dana over the years for his professionalism, knowledge, and generosity he brings to Falcon and our Clients. Congratulations, Dana!

    Falcon’s Environmental Services Manager, Christo Falcon’s Environmental Services Manager, Christopher Burkhardt, who serves as the Workshop Coordinator for the North Carolina Association of Environmental Professionals, recently organized registration and logistics for the Rare Plant & Natural Communities Workshop in Uwharrie National Forest. This full-day field trip was led by the North Carolina Natural Heritage Program (@ncnaturalheritage) and focused on identifying and understanding the habitats of the state-protected Georgia aster and federally listed Schweinitz’s sunflower. Participants also had the chance to observe several rare yellow pitcher plants and unique natural communities and wetland ecosystems. Along with a valuable educational experience, the event raised over $1,500 for the North Carolina Natural Heritage Program! Thank you NHP for all you do!

    We are happy to welcome Brittany Dreher to the tea We are happy to welcome Brittany Dreher to the team! Brittany will be working in our Environmental Services Department, where she will be conducting field investigations, summarizing findings, and preparing reports. Brittany has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Austin Peay State University and has been in the A/E/C industry for six years. We are excited to bring Brittany’s skills to the team, and look forward to her contributions at Falcon!
    We are happy to welcome Ozzy Arizmendi to Falcon’s Construction services team. Ozzy is a US Marine veteran and previously worked with AT&T. During his time in the Marines, he worked as a secure network administrator. Ozzy was looking to make a career change and has always had an interest in civil engineering. We are happy to have Ozzy on board as he begins this new career path. He will be serving as Engineering Technician for Falcon, and has hit the ground running - thus far completing his nuke gauge safety certification and ACI class.
