Special Inspector (full-time): Cary, NC
Hourly hiring range: $23.00 to $30.00 (based on years of experience and certifications)
Falcon is seeking a Special Inspector for our Cary, NC Testing and Inspections group. Falcon offers paid training, certifications, and renewals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, materials testing, inspections, and daily field reporting.
Required Qualifications: Three years of experience in Construction Inspections
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred certifications: NCDOT and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Technician Level I, Nuclear Gauge User Certification.
- Special Inspector certifications: ICC – Soils, Concrete, and Masonry
- Have a basic understanding of plans/blueprints.
- Be able to lift equipment up to 80 lbs.
- Be able to perform physical activities required of the testing procedures including squatting, bending, lifting, climbing, and traversing difficult terrain.
- Have a willingness to perform work after regular business hours, occasional night work, and some weekends when necessary.
- Driver’s license required.
- Will train the right candidate (the company will pay for all certifications).
