Disciplines
Special Inspections
A member of Falcon’s staff provided special inspections for this three-story load-bearing masonry structure. During the course of duty, there were several significant concerns with the quality of the constructed masonry and concrete elements. Falcon’s Tommy Faulkner worked closely with the State Construction Office, NCCU, and the Design Team to ensure that all discrepant items were remedied to the satisfaction of our client. Because of the critical nature of the discrepancies observed and the success of having them identified and remediated under the supervision of the Special Inspector, this is often cited as an example of how effective SI can be at averted structural failures.
*Staff at Falcon performed leadership roles on this project while with a previous employer.
