Geotechnical Professional
Seeking a highly self-motivated Geotechnical Professional to join our progressive, high-energy Geotechnical Engineering department in Raleigh, NC. Three (3) or more years experience working in the North Carolina Geologic setting with licensure as an EI, PE or PG is required. Working knowledge of CADD (Microstation, ACAD) and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT) also required. This job requires occasional travel and a hands-on approach to Geotechnical field engineering. Materials Testing Engineering / Inspection Services Department Manager
Immediate opening for a department manager to manage our construction testing and inspections group of inspectors, technicians and engineers. Minimum of 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction/inspection industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong people skills with previous departmental management experience required. Minimum qualifications of a BSCE or MS in Construction Engineering, and PE in NC. Good working knowledge of the ICC Building Code as it relates to inspection of vertical structures. Responsibilities include supervising and overseeing all aspects of a departmental staff of 15+ people. Fiscal responsibility of the department, project management, and report preparation.
